Permits, Legal Compliance & Customer Responsibility Customer Responsibility for Permits and Legal Requirements Customers are solely responsible for researching, verifying and complying with all applicable laws and regulations in their country, state, province or territory regarding the purchase, importation, exportation, transportation, possession and keeping of any live animals or invertebrates purchased through or sourced with the assistance of Lil Paradisa. Customers must independently determine whether any permits, licences, certificates, registrations or other authorizations are required and obtain all necessary approvals before proceeding with a purchase or arranging shipment. Lil Paradisa provides sourcing assistance and facilitates connections with third-party suppliers. The availability of a species through a supplier does not guarantee that the species is legal to purchase, import, possess or keep in the customer’s jurisdiction. Customers are responsible for verifying the legal requirements applicable to their specific circumstances before placing an order. Lil Paradisa does not guarantee that any particular species is permitted in every jurisdiction. Lil Paradisa will not knowingly assist with transactions intended to circumvent applicable laws or regulatory requirements. All purchases and sourcing arrangements remain subject to applicable laws and regulations. By using Lil Paradisa’s sourcing services, customers acknowledge their responsibility to understand and comply with the legal requirements applicable to their purchases. Important: This policy does not exclude or limit any legal obligations or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

We offer:

  • Custom-designed terrariums and paludariums

  • Live plants and invertebrates (e.g., springtails, isopods, shrimp)

  • Materials, care products, and accessories

  • Local delivery, pickup, and Canadian shipping

  • Automated care system installations upon request

All orders are subject to availability and confirmation.

4. Live Goods Disclaimer

By ordering live animals or plants, you acknowledge:

  • You understand the care requirements of the species.

  • You comply with local laws and are legally allowed to receive the items.

  • You will be available to accept delivery.

  • Lil’ Paradisa is not liable for issues resulting from incorrect handling after delivery.

5. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are listed in CAD (Canadian Dollars).

  • Prices are subject to change without notice.

  • We accept major payment methods via Wix Payments.

  • Full payment is required at checkout unless otherwise stated.

6. Cancellations, Refunds, & Returns

  • Custom and live orders are final sale.

  • Cancellations are only accepted within 24 hours of order placement, unless production has begun.

  • We handle refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at contact@lilparadisa.com with your order number and concern.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this site—including photos, logos, text, and designs—is the property of Lil’ Paradisa and may not be reproduced without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

Lil’ Paradisa is not liable for:

  • Damages or injury resulting from improper setup or care.

  • Losses caused by delays in delivery.

  • Damage resulting from force majeure events (weather, supply chain issues, etc.).

You use our products at your own risk. Follow all care instructions provided.

9. Third-Party Services

We may link to or integrate third-party apps (e.g., Wix Stores, shipping carriers). We are not responsible for their policies or performance.

10. User Conduct

By using this site, you agree not to:

  • Impersonate others or provide false information.

  • Interfere with site security or operations.
